Sean & Lori are Engaged!

Sean is officially engaged! Lori accepted
his proposal and the date is set for
May 23 in the Snowflake Temple.
Congrats to Sean and Lori! Another
beautiful daughter for us!

Dad's New Ride!

2008 Toyota Tundra
We finally decided that after 15 years, Dad deserved
a new truck! We bought a "gently used" one that
Hatch had been using as a demo in the dealership.
It is a super nice ride and has the biggest back seat
I have ever seen in a truck! We have calculated that
using our current truck purchasing habits we will
be nearly 67 years old the next time we get one!

Making Snickerdoodles for Elder Skippy!

Grandbabies Visit!

Tim & Cara's kids came for a visit on Saturday. Papa and
Grammi had a grand time with them. Here
MaKenna is testing out the flavor of a rock.
I got the next pictures backwards - we went to the
nursery at church (my current calling) to clean
and organize the toys in the closet - we took the
helpers and they loved it! The before and after
pictures are below. We started the day out with
lunch at our favorite Dairy Queen!

Sean & MacKay's Excellent Adventures!

I forgot to post that a couple of weeks ago one
of Sean's favorite mission buddies from Utah
came to visit. They spent one night in Show Low
and rode a bit around here on Dad's bike and
Sean's (Skip's???) and then in the valley they
rode to Canyon Lake on the Suzuki and Shadow.
They had a great time! These are for you
Elder Skip!

Elder Skippy Pictures

Here is a little update on Elder Skippy. I
actually have no idea what is going on in these
pictures (they came via Misty - thanks Misty!)
But I know he is doing great! He loves his
comp and the area - he is currently serving
in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Gotta love the Nascar!

Grandkids!

Fun in Mesa!

Last week I had a meeting in the valley for DQ, so
Chris and I drove down on Monday and took all
the kids out to eat. B had the idea to get Panda
Express to go, then drive a block to the local
Mickey D's and order the kids food there and eat
while they played on the toy set! Worked great!
Here we all are including Cara's brother Glen,
wife Dana and two boys.

My little Mackey girl! (Check those cute teeth!)

Loads of fun!

Sean & Lori loved playing the games too!

First Ride of the Season

We took our first motorcycle ride of the season yesterday.
It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. We rode
from Tokay junction to Whiteriver and then to Pinetop. It
was really warm the whole time until about 10 miles out
of Pinetop and then BRRRRR! We ate a late lunch in Pinetop
and then went to the movie - it was about 6pm when we
headed home and then it was really cold! We are looking
forward to a great summer on the bike!

DQ Meeting

I had two days of DQ meetings a couple of weeks ago and
Chris wasn't able to attend. I hung out with Joan Belshe
from the Eagar DQ. We had a great time! Here
we are at the Arizona Opry - a dinner show in Apache
Junction that they bussed us to - it was great
entertainment. We got some good information from
other operators and are ready for the busy season at
our stores!
